Edward Burne-Jones Musical Angel Greeting Card
Sir Edward Burne-Jones, a Pre-Raphaelite painter, created this composition in 1862–1863. The angel playing a flageolet is based on a stained glass design he created for a window depicting the New Jerusalem for the parish church at Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.
