Angeli Ministrantes A5 Blank Greeting Card

This beautiful greeting card shows two angels resting their tired sandal-shod feet while dressed in pilgrim cloaks and carrying pilgrim staffs. The figures for this composition were originally designed by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones between 1877-1878, for stained-glass windows in Salisbury Cathedral’s south choir. Manufactured in the Morris & Co. workshops.

With the addition of border and background designs by John Henry Dearle, Burne-Jones drawings were transformed into Angeli Ministrantes tapestries in 1894. Our A5 blank greeting card comes with a plain envelope and is printed with excellent colour and clarity on thick, 330gsm Fedrigoni gloss card of the highest quality.
